Bedding is 'central' to kids' bedroom design

People looking for a base of colour to work from when redecorating their child's bedroom ought to buy their favourite bedding first, as it is this which dominates the look of a room the most.
Mums and dads wanting to create the perfect look for their child's room should start with the bedding and work from there, according to a decorating expert.Michelle Williams, who runs Michelle Williams Interiors, told Scripps News that bed linen is a solid investment as it comes in a range of styles and, more importantly, prices.
She explained: "You can theme the bedding to fit or perhaps command the overall look of the room.
"When the mood changes as the years progress, new wall colour coupled with new bedding will bring a complete change in the room."
Ms Williams added that it was the main thing which could lead to design evolution in the room, growing older with the child.
Choosing a mattress is always really important too, according to the New York Daily News, which explained that buying the wrong one could be an expensive mistake for both the user's health and their wallet.
