Brits spend 'lots of time' working from bed
Published: 21 May 2009
A new survey understands that one quarter of Britons are prepared to forego their personal relationships in order to do work from bed, suggesting that bedding and duvet covers ought to be as comfortable as possible given the time they spend there!
Men and women across the country are doing work from bed, in turn possibly forsaking relationships and even putting information at risk of being intercepted via unprotected wireless internet, a new poll highlights.Research carried out by Credant Technologies found that people are willing to work from under their duvet covers for up to six hours a week.
Four per cent of respondents even admitted to checking their emails as the last thing they do at night, as opposed to kiss their partner.
The company emphasised the need to use the bedroom for what it's designed for, with computers and other mobile devices best left away from the bed.
Credant specialises in endpoint data protection systems and compliance issues, highlighting the range of dangers people can get themselves locked up in regarding a lack of security.
