Work should 'never enter the bedroom'

Leave the bedroom to little more than bed linen, duvet covers and a big, relaxing comforter as the space should be used for one thing only - rest - as it is there to be a person's sanctuary.
People who use the bedroom for more than just a simple sleeping and relaxation environment are not getting their priorities right, an design expert has said.Lecturer and interior designer at the Sydney Design School Samantha Cahill spoke to the Sydney Morning Herald, explaining that the bedroom is very important in maintaining a calm personality as it is necessary in maintaining sleep patterns and overall happiness.
Highlighting the role of nicer bed linen and duvet covers, she explained: "A bedroom should be your retreat and personal comfort zone and if that space is being shared with a home office it is very difficult to relax. You are surrounded with equipment and constant reminders that make you feel guilty."
Though style is a virtue in the bedroom when it comes to decorating and bedding, the bed needs to provide practicality, warmth and comfort, Ms Cahill added.
Ex-insomniac Sheilagh Weymouth recently explained to the Huffington Post that regularly eating bad foods can leave the brain malnourished of the vitamins and minerals it needs to remain calm during the night, highlighting potential sleep problems.
