Ask for input when choosing kids' bedding
Published: 28 May 2010
0It is important to get children's creative input when redesigning their bedrooms.
Children often have ideas of their own when it comes to choosing new kids' bedding, it has been suggested. Parents should make sure they do not leave youngsters out when redesigning their bedrooms, as they often hold some great inspiration, interior designer Amanda Sinistaj told the Detroit News.
She highlighted that simple changes such as applying a new lick of paint or even investing in some new kids' bedding can make all the difference in a room.
However, it is important not to get carried away and to realise children will grow quickly, so the decor in their bedrooms should reflect this.
"Kids are really imaginative and it's good to get them involved in the process when they're old enough to contribute," Ms Sinistaj explained.
This follows on from advice offered by the Very blog, which suggested bright and cheerful bed linen is essential when seeking to brighten up a bedroom.
