Bright colours are essential when choosing new kids' bedding, it has been suggested.
Parents need to opt for brightly coloured kids' bedding to make their children's rooms more summery.This is according to the Very blog, which emphasised that brand new bedding can really make a difference to the look and feel of a room.
For girls' rooms, pink is the standard colour and should not be turned down simply because it is stereotypical.
Instead, the blog recommends getting hold of kids' bedding that depicts fairies and other mythical creatures to really add a sense of interest to a room.
Boys, on the other hand, may be interested in sports-related bedding, especially as the World Cup is just around the corner.
For younger children, the blog identified that "character-wise there probably is something for everyone", so searching around can really prove effective.
The Manila Bulletin said earlier this month that investing in good quality bed linen is a sure fire way of adding a touch of class to the bedroom.
