'No need for a pro' in use of bedding
Published: 26 November 2008
An Australian bedding expert and provider has dished out tips for budding designers, stressing that you do not have to turn to a professional to design your bedroom - just try things out yourself.
The wide range of bedding options available to the buyer put the power in their hands to create whatever they wanted to, according to an Antipodean bedding provider.A representative for Australia's Just Bedding told Your Story that after the person had ensured their bed was comfortable and suitable for their body, they should put effort into their choice of bedspreads and duvet covers as they were immediately visible in the bedroom.
It was added that the mood for the room should also be chosen, with bedding chosen to complement the current decor or stand out instead.
The blogger continued: "If you want your bed to stand out and to be the focus of attention in your room, you can have plain, neutral-coloured walls and very attractively-designed coverlet, duvet, bedspread or comforter."
However, people should not skimp with their money when buying bed linen as it is the most-used fabric in the house, according to Alex Vergara of the Philippine Daily Inquirer last week.
