An interior designer recommends a number of tips for people hoping to give their bedroom a "five-star feel" over winter and the holiday period.Bedding expert Chrissie Rucker tells the Daily Mail that fitted sheets are a great place to start as they provide people with a "beautifully tailored" look to their place of rest.
She continues: "A top sheet with a duvet or blankets will give the bed a beautifully tailored finish and you won't have to wash the duvet cover quite as often."
For those wanting to put more money into the luxury side of things, a cashmere throw is also a great way to give the bed some glamour, she adds.
Recently, bedding expert Vikram Kuamr said the glossiness of satin gave it the perfect credentials of a luxury bedding option for big spenders.
