French people 'love British beds'

If a person is expecting French guests in the near future, good bedding such as Egyptian cotton could perfect an already great experience as they are in love with the quality of British beds, one writer has asserted.
Do not fear if you feel your bed linen is not quite up to scratch when friends from across the channel come to visit - the mattress alone may be enough to do the trick.Bedding expert Robert A Fuller said that British beds provided the continental visitor with unrivalled comfort as manufacturers were much more established, adding that UK offerings could be coupled with bedding fabrics such as silk, cashmere and organic cotton to make it extra comfortable.
He also noted that British beds also gave a great deal of support for a person's back and were "vastly superior" to their Gallic rivals.
Mr Fuller continued: "French beds, on the other hand, are most often of a bed-frame design, with slats and a hard, shallow 'sommier' supporting the mattress. 'Matelas' are often thin, with a high foam content, or foam with a few hundred springs."
One of the oldest bed companies in the UK and world is Hypnos, which was awarded the Royal Warrant of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for its quality.
