A children's reporter donned his lab coat to test what is thought to be the world's first 3D duvet cover - visiting a team in Manchester who combined science and bedding to make the bed linen masterpiece.
A reporter for a BBC children's show revealed a world's first in bedding - a 3D duvet cover. In a report for Newsround, scientist Adam met up with fellow tech-heads to discover the amount of effort that went into the design, which features comic book favourite Spiderman splashed on the fabric.
Using special glasses, the scientists overcame the trickiness of the task and made the 3D image jump out very well, the reporter said.
Adam continued: "I was quite surprised to hear how much science goes into a duvet cover - how it looks, how it feels, whether it is safe.
"Now get ready for more wearable 3D stuff hitting the shops."
People hoping to get the best duvet with their bedding may want to invest in wool-filled options, according to Leanne Brownoff of Canwest News, who said that it was a great natural and breathable alternative to polyester or down.
