Susan Boyle 'prefers own bed to beautiful bed linen'
Published: 30 November 2009
Despite her success allowing her to enjoy the nicest areas of the world as part of her tour, Susan Boyle is more a fan of the bed linen at home than the bedding of the New York Ritz-Carlton, it is said.
Despite the bonuses which her new job brings her, the well-voiced Susan Boyle still prefers the life she has always had back at her home in Scotland. The Daily Mail noted that she has been living the high life around the world, though always returns to her former council house in Blackburn, West Lothian, even though she has earned between £5 million and £10 million from her success.
It explained: "They have rather nice suites at the Ritz-Carlton in New York. The bed linen is French, with a 400 thread count, the baths are oversized and marble, the sofas are covered in glazed yellow chintz and the cream walls have gilded mouldings."
Still, her regular bedding is still that which she prefers, it explained.
Today (November 30th), it was revealed that Susan Boyle's debut album I Dreamed a Dream had sold 411,820 copies, smashing two records along the way - for first week sales and for sales during 2009.
