With the start of a new season comes the start of a new fashion and bedding is no different, with one writer noting the traditional use of autumn colours as a failsafe option for those investing in bed linen and bedspreads for the coming months.
A home furnishings blogger has noted the strengths of dressing a bedroom to match the seasons, looking at the decoration of one's room with a certain level of traditionalism.The unnamed writer for Home Improvement Ideas said that with summer ending, it was now the time for many people to think of the autumn leaves and colours, embracing such patterns and shades in bed linen.
It was added: "Bedding sets are a great way to add a decorative element to your bedroom, and if you like to change with the seasons, you can get a different set for each time of the year."
Recommendations also included deep, rich shades of chocolate and gold and white prints if getting a decorative touch.
Horton Companies this week said that many people may prefer to have winter bedding already, with wool being good value and silk being great but costly to buy.
