A producer of hemp bedding has stated that the benefits to the planet that the bed linen fabric provides are great, noting a number of qualities within the crop which makes it perfect for use in such things as bedspreads.
Hemp bedding offers buyers a range of features that match the changing desires of the average person, it has been revealed. As well as being easy to farm, interior designer Sue Augustyn noted that bedding produced from hemp offered a chemical-free and environmentally-friendly option to those who were conscious of the planet's wellbeing.
She continued: "Hemp is a fast growing crop with a high fibre yield that doesn't require the use of pesticides.
"In addition to its outstanding environmental benefits, hemp is strong, durable and resistant to mold and ultraviolet light."
Bed linen made from hemp, she added, could create a room which any person would be comfortable and happy to sleep in on a night.
