Bedding has been recognised as a key feature of the enjoyment of a holiday, with hotels specially employing bed linen butlers and pillow specialists to give guests the best experience possible.
New trends in holiday travel have been recently outlined, with bedding in the list of top desires picked up on by hotels attempting to win over customers.The Australian spoke of famous hotel chains making changes to their bed linen standards, with Four Seasons, Rocco Forte, Mandarin Oriental and Ritz-Carlton being highlighted for their employment of new butlers which do varied tasks including shopping for customers or preparing their baths.
It added: "Then there are pillow butlers - with varieties from feather to foam, lavender-filled to anti-snore - to pop on those gazillion-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets."
Another emerging popular trend noted by the news provider was golf tourism, where holidaymakers hop from course to course across a country to sample the best fairways available, with Japanese trips also increasingly desired after many reports of great gourmet dining.
