Tossed bedding gets a new year of rivals

The Turner Prize is not an award known to duck under controversy, with Tracey Emin's bedding-based effort perhaps getting a good run for its money in the latest batch of arrivals for the December award.
The Turner Prize is possibly the award reserved for the most criticism during the course of the year for many people in the UK, with new efforts perhaps challenging one of the more famous entries in the past.Tracey Emin's My Bed, a piece which did exactly what it said on the plinth, was subject to major praise and huge criticism people across the country regardless of their interest in art, with the dirty bedding, dishevelled duvet covers and collection of rubbish opening many eyes.
Roger Hiorns may try to challenge her vision with one of his own, using cubed pieces of a cow's brain to fill a stainless steel lattice.
Enrico David, on the other hand, made a number of huge papier mache egg men with rocking horse rollers for feet.
Tracey Emin is also known for another strange work entitled Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963-1995, which literally noted who she shared a bed with in one way or another, mentioning anyone from ex-lovers to her grandmother.
