When considering buying bedding, bed linen, comforters and duvet sets, remember one professor believes adequate sleep is a basic human right.
Britons may want to invest in some extra comfy bedding as one professor has warned sleep must be safeguarded if individuals are to function properly.Professor Kevin Morgan, the director of the Clinical Sleep Research Unit at Loughborough University made his comments to Radio Netherlands, arguing that a lack of decent shut eye can prevent people from performing well during the day.
"People have the right to access facilities that will deliver quality of life and quality of sleep is one of the fundamental pillars of quality of life," he argued.
For society to continue functioning, the individuals within it must be adequately rested, the professor added.
The Sleep Council of Great Britain suggests one solution to a lack of decent rest is for a person to change their sleeping surroundings.
Snoozers may want to invest in some luxury bed linen or duvet sets, as the council suggests making a bedroom more comfortable and pleasant is one way for a person to relax and enjoy some sleep.
