Bedding 'needed to cut down on allergens'

People wanting to truly get the most out of their bedding and remain safe and healthy ought to invest in some hypoallergenic fabric covers for their mattress to go under their bed linen, it is believed.

Bedding 'needed to cut down on allergens' Allergens can take over a bed and should be treated for the sake of health, according to an expert.

Around ten million allergen particles can be found in the typical mattress, which only highlights how bedding should be taken into account when a person does another big clean-up this month, Aller-Ease explained this week.

"Regularly flipping your mattress can not only extend the life of the mattress, but can also result in a more comfortable night's sleep," the organisation asserted.

Highlighting the importance of bed linen in this process, it added: "Many mattress experts suggest flipping it every six months - others say as often as you change your bedding or sheets."

Bedding that is impervious to allergens will be featuring in James May's Lego house in Dorking, Surrey, though it's not exactly comfortable given that it too is made from the plastic bricks of fun.
