'Mix plain and patterned bed linen' for a new look bed
30 June 2008

For people wanting to brighten up their homes without too much effort, purchasing new bed linen is a must, according to commentator.

The Sunday Mirror asserts that there is a great choice of luxury bed linen available to consumers, adding that mixing plain-coloured bedding with more patterned duvet covers is one way to go about decorating a bed.

It also advises people looking to brighten up their homes that "beautiful" bed throws and detailed cushions help develop a "sumptuous boudoir look", adding that they are "a must" for introducing texture to a room and matching with feature walls.

"The right accessories in an accent colour in a bedroom will make it look more finished and give it a boutique hotel feel," the publication concludes.

Meanwhile, writing for My Design Secrets, an unnamed reporter recently noted that bedding can give a bed a whole new look, especially fitted bed linen which can help cover an unattractive bed base.
